SHA Workshop: Creative Mitigation Strategies
July 9, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm HST
FreeAloha mai kākou,
The Standards & Ethics Committee has planned a workshop entitled “Novel Mitigation Strategies” for July 9th at 1 pm HST. This workshop will focus on novel mitigation strategies that people have implemented or hope to implement in the future as part of Section 106 or 6E projects. We will also include a discussion about what people are doing outside of Hawai‘i and what is possible in Hawai‘i. The workshop will be led by a panel of experts in the field from Hawai‘i as well as California, Washington, and Oregon who have implemented creative or novel mitigation strategies in their work. We will leave time for audience discussion on the topic as well. I will send around a list of panel participants once we are closer to the date. The workshop will be held on Zoom, to register please follow the link below.
