Position Announcement: Report Production Technician/Copyeditor
International Archaeology, LLC (IA) is accepting applications for a full-time Report Production Technician and Copyeditor in its Honolulu office. Job duties include formatting Microsoft Word documents, working with supporting image files, copyediting and proofreading, creating and transmitting electronic documents to clients, and printing and binding reports. Other related tasks will be assigned as time permits, and could include working with citation management software (EndNote), scanning archival documents, updating our website, and assembling documentation for proposals. Work must be performed at the main office in Honolulu.
Applicants must have:
1) B.A. in English (minimum), or several years of relevant experience
2) Experience formatting Microsoft Word documents on Windows PC
3) Attention to detail
4) Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team, and meet deadlines
Previous experience as a copyeditor or prepress technician is desired. Training and / or experience in archaeology is a plus, but not necessary.
Wages are commensurate with experience. A benefits package is included.
