Position: Project Director
Description: International Archaeology, LLC (IA), an equal opportunity employer, seeks a full-time Project Director for its Honolulu office. Project management and cultural resources management experience required. Pacific Islands archaeology experience preferred. Position involves conducting fieldwork with archaeology crews, report writing, overseeing laboratory analyses, and general project oversight. Graduate degree in anthropology or related field is required. Applicant should have computer skills (Microsoft and Adobe software), at least basic GPS/GIS proficiency, a good sense of organization, interpersonal skills, a strong determination to maintain project schedules, a willingness to work as part of a team, and problem-solving abilities. Project work primarily in Hawaii, though projects on Guam and other Micronesian islands or Japan are possible. Position available immediately. Non-U.S. citizens should have a work permit in hand due to the time constraints. Salary and benefits commensurate with position and experience of applicant, and industry standards.
